Why is the schedule so busy before Christmas and the week after.....as an example the renegades have games on December 21,22,23, and the the 28th and 30th( 5 games in 9 days), and noticed other teams schedules busy during that period as well.....was this done to make the team reps lives more difficult, with many players around the league being busy with Christmas / visiting, etc, and scrambling to find spares....(who schedules 3 games in a row?)
Seriously, how many mature players can play that many games in a short period of time. Maybe President Chad could elaborate on this..... |

I see now that our December 23 game has been changed (thanks).
Is it now possible to have all our games changed to a 9 pm start, with no Sunday games, and any games on a long weekend be moved as well.

In all seriousness, we are doing out best working with what we have. There is such a high demand for ice. The Ice at NIC comes out every year April 1st and with spring break falling on the last 2 weeks of March we need to have our year end tournament finished by March 19th.
Going forward we are going to have to make some tough decisions about how many games we play if the demand on ice continues.
We will make sure no team plays 3 games in a row. There may be schedule changes through out the season based on ice availability and maintenance issues that can potentially arise.
The board would like feed back from all members to ensure we move forward in most beneficial way in the future.
