Week 26 report card...February 23-28..,,the Final report card of the season
A+ Pirates, Congratulations on winning the regular season. I thought it would not happen in my lifetime, but as they say, “Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while”. Note to the NCHL board, please jack up their player ratings so they need to disband their team.
C+. Devils/Stickmen, identical records, perfect mediocrity. The poster kids for NCHL parity.
C- Pucks, 0-2 before the playoffs, see if you can go 0-5 in the playoffs (I dare you).
A+. Mad Dogs, congrats on this season, and many more in the future.
D. HC Hitmen, nice way to end the season, 9-1 loss, and allowing 14 goals defensively this week. Perfect way to get started for the playoffs.
This is the last report card for this season. As usual, I will be negotiating with the NCHL board for a new contract the following season. I’ll be asking for a case of Cream Soda, 3 bags of Ketchup chips, and season 3 and 4 of Law and Order on DVD.
As usual, it’s a pleasure to take shots at you guys **, during the season, it’s like shooting fish in a barrel, it writes itself.
